DFGS, Inc. was founded in 2022 by two immigrant students who, like so many others, faced the challenges of navigating an academic system that often lacked the support they desperately needed during their primary and secondary school years in the USA. In 2020, we realized that having the mindset to succeed is powerful, but without the necessary resources and support to turn that potential into reality, success can feel out of reach.
As founders of DFGS, we are driven by a deep sense of generosity and humility to offer afterschool tutoring and faith-based development programs that uplift and empower students, no matter their background. DFGS is a community-centered nonprofit built with love and purpose, designed to respond to the gaps in educational support that far too many students face.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to help each student excel academically and spiritually, to guide them toward a future filled with promises, and to ensure that no child feels alone in their journey. We believe in the power of the community, in the strength of support, and in the unwavering belief that every student has the potential to succeed, regardless of their past.
